Disaster Services

Each year, the American Red Cross responds to thousands of disasters including house or apartment fires (the majority of disaster responses), hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hazardous materials spills, transportaion accidents, explosions, and other natural and man-made disasters. We assist disaster victims in meeting their emergency needs to include shelter, food, clothing and emotional support.
Whether it is a fire, hurricane or flood it is essential that you, your family and/or your business know about the services available to you from the Yokota Red Cross.

Your Yokota Red Cross Staff and Volunteers are here for you – Please be sur to read through our website or contact us in person to learn more about how we can help you prepare for the unexpected or recover from a disaster. We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. All disaster assistance is FREE and an outright gift made possible by the donations of time and resources from the American people.
There are many ways you can help – become a disaster volunteer, conduct disaster preparedness presentations or donate funds. To become a disaster volunteer we will provide all the training FREE of charge. Our volunteers have been integral to servicing victims of disaster in our area.
